The course of the Singelloop has been adjusted to the tradition of past years and now goes all around the town canals (‘singels’) around the historical city centre, to be in line with its rich history. Start and finish are now near the Maliesingel and Lepelenburg. The little park near the Railway Museum also fits that history. An improvement too from a logistic point of view, as future will tell. Park Lepelenburg has been designed for it: the Singelloop can now further increase. Last year the event could handle a maximum of 7,000 runners, from now it can increase to 10,000 athletes and even more.
